priestess and evangelist for the cult of bastet
Anne-Marie Sulan is a priestess to the goddess Bastet, favored by the patroness for her great faith and service. Though she was born in Montreal, much of her education came in Egypt, and she fell in with the Cult of Bastet near her fifteenth birthday. Brought to the city of Tell Basta for initiation, she showed an unusual dedication and verve - and on her seventeenth birthday, she found Bastet's favor. Prior to Anne-Marie's ascension, Bastet had shown no favor to a worshiper in nearly a thousand years… a fact not lost on those canny to the movement of the Gods. Since her ascension, Bastet has been unusually active, granting favor to several other followers - including Anne-Marie's first son, Sacha Sulan - and making overtures of influence not seen in generations.
In 1985, Anne-Marie married Jean-Basile Fleury, a union of convenience following the death of her first husband. She has two children with Jean-Basile, Marc-Aurele Fleury and Luc-Aurele Fleury. Much like her patroness, Anne-Marie was a very present and nurturing mother, but has paid little attention since sending her children into the world.
Recently, Anne-Marie has been traveling. She left Montreal on a mission for her goddess in 2012, and was most recently seen in Tangiers, Morocco.
